I love steak so this recipe I had to try because it only takes a few ingredients and can be make quickly.
It has 121 grams of protein per serving and only 3 net grams of carbs. Takes 30 minutes to prepare and cook.
It is called Coconut Lime Skirt Steak.
¼ cup coconut oil
2 Tbsp squeeze lime juice
Zest of 1 lime (grated)
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 tsp red pepper flakes
2 pounds of skirt steak
In a large bowl, combine the coconut oil, lime juice and the zest of the lime, ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, and salt. Add the steak to the bowl and flip it on all sides to coat it in the marinade. Let the meat marinate for 20 minutes at room temperature.
Now place the steaks in a large skillet over medium high heat. Sear the steak on both sides until it is cooked to your desired temperature. Should probably take 4-6 minutes per side depending on your level of doneness. Slice and serve.
