Just 2 Tablespoons Of Coconut Oil Can Do This For You…

There is a lot of buzz about coconut oil and how it relates to your health.

Some will say you need to consume 2 Tbsp every day to improve your health.

Others say that it will cause heart disease and it isn’t healthy because of it being a saturated fat.

So where does the truth reside at…

Here Is The TRUTH About Coconut Oil

Let’s discuss the saturated fat issue first.

As mentioned coconut oil is made up primarily of saturated fat.  Almost 90 percent of coconut oil is saturated fat.

What the mainstream media will tell you is that saturated fat is a no-no when you want to have a healthier heart.

The truth is the saturated fat found in coconut oil is actually Good For You!

How is this possible?...

It is because the fat that is in coconut oil is mainly lauric acid.  Lauric acid is a medium-chain triglyceride.

Lauric acid is NOT stored by your body.  As a medium-chain triglyceride it is broken down by the liver and used for energy instead of getting stored on your body.

Another benefit of consuming 2 Tbsp of coconut oil is that it is good for your heart.
As you probably know it is important to keep your cholesterol and triglyceride levels in an acceptable range.  If you don’t you increase your risk of heart disease.

Researchers and scientists have linked coconut oil to a lower risk of heart disease and have also shown improvements in cholesterol levels.

The benefits of coconut oils expand beyond your heart though.  If you consume virgin coconut oil it also contains a whole host of antioxidants and polyphenols to fight off free radical damage within your body and lower inflammation.

Which Type Of Coconut Oil Should You Consume?

The BEST kind of coconut oil to maximize all the health benefits is extra virgin or virgin coconut oil.  They contain the most antioxidants, polyphenols and heart health benefits.

It does have a stronger coconut flavor though.

If you don’t want the coconut flavor you can use a refined coconut oil that still provides the medium-chain triglyceride lauric acid and some of the antioxidants.  You just don’t get as much of the antioxidants and polyphenols to lower inflammation and fight off the free radicals.

Do pay attention to the label though and make sure you aren’t buying a heavily processed form of coconut oil or else all these benefits get wasted.

This is the HOTTEST oil on the market right now.

There are a lot of oils that are beneficial such as olive oil and avocado oil, but coconut oil is up at the top as well because of all its health benefits.

If you are looking for an additional healthy oil to add to your cooking that helps improve your heart health give coconut oil a try in some of your favorite recipes.
